The National Calendar of Remo (Photo Pedro Seoane) is increasingly complicated

On the occasion of all the exceptional circumstances that we are experiencing, in relation to the state of alarm decreed by the government in March and its successive extensions, due to the global health crisis caused by the Covid- 19, last April, the Commission Delegate of the General Assembly, on a proposal from the Presidency of the RF, decided to suspend a series of regats of the approved official calendar, as well as to postpone others, although other evidence remained unaddressed at that meeting, pending a new call from the Commission Delegate in May where it would be decided on those new dates.

The unequal evolution that is taking place in different parts of the national territory the process of deceleration envisaged by the government, in addition to the indefinition still in the international calendar, has
which has led to the postponement of such a call, with the intention that at the meeting we will be able to take concrete decisions on what remains of the timetable.

In this way, we hope that in the next few days we can already make some of the variables that we must take into account in order to decide on the holding of our competitions.

In any case and until the meeting of the delegated committee at which an amendment to the timetable is approved, from the Presidency of the RF it is reported that all those races that have not been
cancelled by the Delegated Committee are considered postponed pending the establishment of its new date of conclusion.

As already reported, from the RF, different contacts will be maintained to know the possibilities of organizing races on the dates that we can cut, so that in the shortest possible time we can have a new calendar with dates and location of each of the competitions to be held.
