Due to the successive extensions of the State of Alarm by the Covid- 19, the Organizing Committee has been forced to extend the postponement of the Route of Salt, which was to be held in early April... the departure will take place on Friday October 9, the closing ceremony is scheduled on Sunday 11.... The participants would have Monday, 12 October, a national holiday, to return to their base ports.

The organizing clubs Sant Antoni, Port Ginesta, Port d'Andraxt and Denia have at all times provided their collaboration for the establishment of the new dates... as well as the expected participating fleet, as well as the sponsors from institutions to private companies

For the Denia version of La Ruta de la Sal, an important novelty is presented. Considering that the Royal Nautical Club of Denia had already scheduled the Canal Cup race for the October bridge, an agreement has been established to twinning both races. In this way, this year, the participants who decide to take the race in a direct direction, Denia-Sant Antoni, will compete for the precious Canal Cup, while those who decide to take the long tour leaving Formentera and Ibiza by port, will compete in La Ruta de la Sal.

This year's edition is presented as an opportunity to celebrate the victory over adversity... a magnificent opportunity to, sailing to Ibiza, fill the lungs with pure air and observe that the worst is left behind, in the stelae of our soups.
