This type of competition is being extended motivated by home confinement resulting from the pandemic

The circumstances require... the first Virtual Regata of Vela, organized by the Spanish Association of Nautical Clubs, which will be held from 27 to 30 April, among the clubs that are part of this association, founded by the Real Club Marítimo del Abra in 1999... the idea came from the Real Club Nautico de Melilla.

Four regatists can participate in each category and for each club, and many of them are making local leagues to finally designate those who will be involved in the National League.

The registration ends next day 25... the races, five per category with a discard, for those under 18 years of age will take place on 27 and 28 April, while those planned for over 18 years of age will be on 29 and 30. The first day shall be for the classification and the second, respectively, for the final. This new competition, which will be televised live, can be followed by the Virtual Regatta application.
