The July Sailing Regatta Calendar at Risk from the pandemic

To complete the race calendar until June, hope is now focused on being able to raise the curtain in early July
The vast majority of the sailing competitions planned for May and June have already been cancelled... both in our country and at the level of the major international circuits...
First they fell the ones that played the turn in April... the legendary Sal Route, Princess Sofia... after May and already these days to June... but all if to much of them the case of the Superyacht of Palma de Mallorca...
Sources consulted with information at the highest level, estimate that at the best of the scenarios in the second half of April we can have reached the zenit of contagios... in this line of optimism the authorities can begin to loosen the nuts of intense control of the citizens in late May or early June... and it is foreseeable that during the month of July it could see a beginning of a "restricted" normality... and in August a more favourable scenario was started, to achieve normality in September.
There are opinions close to the decision-making bodies that the candle will be of the first to see if the situation is normalized... because it is an outdoor sport, a sport in which if it is a light candle without contact or physical proximity, or in any case two athletes... and in the class cruise of 4 to 7 people the number of regatists on a ship... is also hypothetically spoken of allowing us to regatta, but cannot hold social events... such as receptions or awards...
In chapel is now the programming of the month of July... races like the Queen's Cup of Valencia, or the Costa Vasca Regata, or the Count of Gondomar Trophy... are the first to be held, as long as the authorities are able to stop the evolution of the pandemic at the end of May... that must be our goal.
ULTIMA HORA: The tennis tournament that is traditionally held in Wimbledon will not be held in 2020 (29 June to 12 July are the dates) due to the coronavirus
