Italia se queda sin sus dos citas de las 52 Super Series: la de Scarlino en la Toscana y la de Porto Cervo

Italy runs out of two quotes from the 52 Super Series: Scarlino in Tuscany and Porto Cervo

In May the Royal Cup 52 Super Series Scarlino 2020 was to be held and in June the Audi 52 Super Series Porto Cervo & TP52 20th Anniversary Invitational 2020... have both been cancelled.

After a careful analysis in conjunction with the headquarters, the circuit's allied companies and the shipowners, it has been decided that the two trials to be held in Italy will be cancelled due to the global impact of the COVID19 pandemic.

The return of the race to the wonderful shores of Tuscany from the Marina of Scarlino was to be held from 12 to 16 May. Since the circuit visited this place in 2016, the regatists and organizers have always appreciated the excellent infrastructure on land and the chic environment in the Navy. The race field has always been shown as a challenge for the regatists, but always with the certainty that there will be wind as it would happen with the Rolex TP52 World Championship celebration there in 2017.

There was also a great expectation about what promised to be an extraordinary invitation race, the Audi 52 Super Series Porto Cervo & TP52 20th Anniversary Invitational 2020, in the magnificent Yacht Club Costa Smeralda. The largest fleet of TP52 in recent years was to meet in Sardinia, with about 20 ships registered, to compete in the fourth race of the 2020 season.
