Varador 2000 incorporates a new workshop specialized in laminates and composites in its repair & refit facilities of the port of Arenys de Mar... the new company that has set its industrial activity in the yard of Varador 2000 is Garriga BCN, one of the best specialized workshops in the sector.

Garriga BCN thus joins the other companies that already developed their activities in the Arenys Shipyard: Sailing Solutions, Hymapro, Motor Nautic, Global Motors Arenys, Luxwood Fusteria Naval, Diplonautic and VC Fiber.

Garriga BCN is a company specialized in works in laminate compounds of all types of fibres and resins such as carbon, kevlar / aramides, glass, epoxy, vinylester, polyester, pvc, etc. The company uses manual, infusion and vacuum techniques for boat restoration projects, interior habitability projects and outdoor transformation projects. It also makes maintenance and structural repairs, installs bankruptcy for new equipment and manufactures new yacht supplements.

The company is run by Jordi Garriga, which has evolved in second generation in the nautical sector to new more specialized niches of activity generated by the new demands of the sector. It comes from Garriga Shipyards, dedicated to the construction of one off high competition boats such as the Fortuna Light, built for the Whitbread Round the World Race race, the current Volvo Ocean Race.

The new workshops located in the technical area of Varador 2000 have made the shipyard a real hub of companies capable of providing a comprehensive technical service to all types of sailing and motor vessels preferably of length between 20 and 50 meters. These specialized workshops consolidate and provide quality to the shipyard. Varador 2000 negotiates new agreements with other specialized companies and technicians to expand its future supply of services and consolidate its 360º industrial project.
