The organizers of the Superyacht Cup Palma have decided to cancel the 2020 edition of the race, which was scheduled to be held between 17 and 20 June. The organization has made this decision as a result of the global pandemic caused by the COVID-19 coronavirus, and following the recommendations of the Spanish and Baleal authorities.

"This global crisis has made it impossible to plan the event, and we have therefore made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel this year's edition. We urge everyone to stay safe and we hope to receive the fleet back in Palma in 2021, on which it will be the 25th anniversary of Europe's longest superyacht race.", says Kate Branagh, director of the event.

The provisional dates for the 25th anniversary are June 23-26, 2021.
