The Náutico-Deportiva Juan Montiel Association has already launched for its great meeting in 2020 what will be the Spanish championship of Optimist, a test that will be held from 6 to 11 April. This last official test for the organizing committee will take place this weekend (14 and 15 March), with the celebration of the Trophy Juan Montiel, City of Águilas in which it is expected a participation that can be over 100 regatists, from the Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Catalonia, Community of Madrid, Valencia Community and Region of Murcia.

The presentation of the Juan Montiel Trophy, Ciudad de Águilas, took place today at the Hotel Puerto Juan Montiel, with the assistance of Cristóbal Casado, the sports councilman of the city of Águilas; Arturo García, president of the Federation of Sailing of the Region of Murcia and Juan Francisco Montiel, president of the Náutico-Sports Association Juan Montiel, among other personalities.
