This weekend it starts in Gijón Bay, the Light Sailing Spring Trophy and cruise, the tests are carried out by the Royal Astur Club of Regatas. Six days are scheduled for both categories, which will be held in March, April and May.

On Saturday at 12.30 p.m. the light sailing fleet will be in charge of opening the Trophy, in which the classes: Optimist, Laser, Feva and Snipe compete. Two sleeves per day are expected to be held on a trapeze course, or on a cane basis, depending on the intensity of the wind with an expected duration of approximately 50 minutes.

On Sunday at 1 p.m. it is planned to give the signal of attention in San Lorenzo Bay to the first of the six scheduled dates. Five of which will take place in Gijón, to which must be added a coastal tour of the return between Gijón and Luanco planned for the last day.

Covadonga Fernández in Optimist, Jorge Sevillano in Optimist A, Alfonso Jaudenes in Laser 4.7, and the couple formed by Carlos Ordoñez and Leticia Pelayo in Snipe were the winners in the last edition. For its part, the Taxus MedioAmbiente de Alfredo Flórez in class I, the University of Oviedo - Grupo Isastur, by Roberto Álvarez in group II and the Espumeru, by Juan Antonio Bouza in the III are the ships to be beaten by cruise.
