The Salt Route, declared the Island Tourist Interest Event by the Consell d'Eivissa, will sail on April 9 from the three exit ports, the Royal Nautical Club of Denia, Port Ginesta and the Club of Vela Port d'Andraxt... three versions of the race with one destination: the Sant Antoni Nautico of Portmany, in Ibiza.

With the participation of Didac Costa in the race as a "navigator of honor," La Ruta de la Sal wants to enhance the community of support for the Vendée Globe project of the ocean navigator and to promote its interaction with the lovers of navigation and the sea.

In this edition, The Salt Route will incorporate a new classification by clubs, in which they will score the first two classified from each entity. The idea is to recognize the sailing promotion work of the nautical clubs and to promote team competition.

Another new development being prepared by the organizing committee is the awareness-raising dossiers. On the one hand, collaboration with the We Are Water Foundation will serve the development of the sustainability dossier, while Garmin and Ausmar will contribute their knowledge-how to the safety dossier, with special emphasis on this matter within the charter sector of the hand of Marina Estrella, Globe Sailor and Sailwiz.

The Ruta de la Sal will close the program on Sunday April 12 with the celebration of the Regata Inshore-Trofeu Ajuntment de Sant Antoni. a coastal race in front of the bay of the municipality in which the three fleets of La Ruta de la Sal can measure their forces in the same field of races
