The Water Sports Federations Symposium was successfully closed in El Puerto
The first Symposium of Water Sports Federations was held in El Puerto de Santa María, where for the first time all federations met in a meeting moderated by the reference nautical journalist in Spain, Pedro Sardina Arthous.
During the first day, the federal representatives had the presence of Pepe Crespo, a specialist in strategic clarification for leaders and where there were different thematic blocks reaching a set of conclusions that would lead to a new stadium the leadership of water sports in this country. The details of these conclusions will be made by the working group that led the summit and will be made public by the EAPN in the coming weeks.
During the second day of the first Symposium of Federations of Water Sports, a series of public round tables of great interest to the sector were held, moderated by the Spanish Association of Nautical Journalists.
To open the public round tables, the first headlines of the summit of presidents by Carlos García, president of the Spanish Federation of Surf, were presented. The second round table was offered by Antonio M. Padron, Spain's ambassador to the International Maritime Organization (IMO), speaking about the "Blue Economy" highlighting the great opportunities offered to us by our seas and oceans.
The witness José Manuel Jiménez Villegas, Inspector of Maritime Safety of the Captains of Cadiz, subsequently took over the legal regulations on the organization of events in aquatic media. The environment also had a preferential place with Uwe Acosta representing Oceanidas and Enrique Montero de Ecotoras, where they presented an X-ray of the deteriorating situation of our seas and oceans, calling for new business management to stop this unfortunate process of destruction.
As a fourth round table, Nicolás Terry, an expert in nautical communication, a founding member of the AEPN and former director of communication of the King of Vela Cup, presented in a comprehensive manner very interesting data that led to conclusions of great importance regarding the return of the current investment in the media.
One of the great support with which this First Symposium of Water Sports Federations has been told to have been successfully baptized has been Gipsy Gin, a sponsor of the AEPN and that has energized the free moments with tastings of a product "made in Spain" and absolutely linked to the sea, betting on sport, sustainability and respect for the marine environment.
