Turno in El Puerto de Santa María for the Symposium of Water Sports Federations

The thematic blocks to be discussed: 1. Water and Tourism Sports, 2. Water sports in the classrooms, 3. Water sports and the marine environment, 4. Communication in water sports and 5. Innovation in water sports.
The Gaditana town of El Puerto de Santa María will host on 20 and 21 February the first Symposium of Water Sports Federations, co-organized by the Spanish Sports Association (ADEP) with the collaboration of the Spanish Association of Nautical Journalists (AEPN), which will lead through its president Pedro Sardina Arthous and Sergio W. Smit, creator and promoter of the project, both the summit of presidents and the public round tables. AEPN members, Nicolás Terry, Macarena Lainez and Jaume Soler will also attend.
The event will consist of two parts. The 1st Summit of Presidents of Water Sports Federations will take place on Thursday, 20. At that meeting the presidents of water sports federations will discuss the Spanish situation of water sports. There will then be a network with the various Sports Directors of the autonomous communities. The Spanish federations represented will be: Nautical Skiing and Wakeboard, Motoronautics, Swimming, Fishing and Casting, Piragüismo, Remo, Salvamento and Socorrismo, Underwater Activities, Surfing, Triathlon and Sailing.
On Friday, the symposium will already be open to the public where different round tables will be held that will have different specialists in each of the subjects such as Antonio M. Padrón, Ambassador of the International Maritime Organization in Spain (Blue Economy. Seas and Oceans as a source of sustainable wealth); Israel Rodríguez Fuster, Maritime Captain of Cadiz and José Manuel Jímenez Villegas, Inspector of Maritime Security of the Cadiz Maritime Captain (Legal Regulation in Water Sports); Uwe Acosta, Network of Marine Watchers, Oceanides and Enrique Montero, Ecoports. (Sustainable Nautical Enterprises); Nicolás Terry, a member of the AEPN, an expert in nautical communication, and former Dircom of the King of Sailing Cup (Emerging Sports: How to achieve greater visibility in the media) and Javier Ramírez and David de la Torre, Alboa Tourist App Developer (How to adapt to new digital marketing platforms).
Thursday's day will start at 9.30 a.m. with the official opening and will end at 8: 00 p.m. and on Friday the round tables will start at 10: 00 a.m. until 14: 00, when this first Water Sports Federations Symposium will be concluded.
