Spain enters the second season of the sailing of the immediate future, in the SailGP

In less than a month it starts the second season of the SailGP in which it will debuts a team with Spanish flag, which has the youngest crew of the entire Championship... made up of young Spanish regatists, with a brilliant future of the Spanish candle.. the crew has world champions and Olympic, belonging to several autonomous communities.

The Spanish SailGP team will be measured with teams from Australia, Denmark, the United States, France, Great Britain and Japan. The 26-year-old Jordi Xammar will be the rod of an elite squadron, of which other regatists classified for the Tokyo Olympic Games are also part.

A Xammar are joined by Florián Trittel (25) from Barcelona and Luis Bugallo (24) from Vigo as wing trimers; the cantabre Diego Botín (26) and the canary Joel Rodríguez (22) as flight controllers, in addition to the palmesan Joan Cardona (21) and the Coruñés and Olympic crew partner from Botín, Iago López Marra (29) as grinders. Mateu Barber (27) completes the group as a grinder.

Xammar, will be the pattern of the F50 Spain SailGP after the end of Tokyo 2020... until then, Phil Robertson (32), the New Zealand and multicasque expert who aupated the Chinese team of SailGP in the initial season to the podium, will be the ultimate responsible for the Spanish ship.

In Sidney the competition will be held on February 28 and 29... after the Australian test will be held in San Francisco (May 2-3), New York (June 12-13)... to reach the Circuit to Europe, in the waters of the British solent, to Cowes, from August 14 to 15. SailGP is the last part of the competition candle... created in 2018, it counts at an organizational level with headquarters in London and New York... it wants the competition to have an annual character... the crews are faced on board F50 catamarans, identical in their design and technology and capable of exceeding speeds of 50 knots, which guarantee an intense competition... from another galaxy.
