The passage of the "Gloria" through the north-east of the Peninsula has caused in some areas, in the case of the Barcelona Maresme, serious problems for navigation in general and the facilities in particular. A clear example has been the El Masnou Sports Port, which is one of the largest in all of Catalonia.

The excellent mariners of the Nàutic El Masnou Club, they were seen and wanted to avoid damage to the ships of their associates and customers... successfully safeguarding ships and facilities, for their dedication and capacity as professionals... however they could not avoid the one that this capricious super storm, created as if from the very same Eolo were, an artificial beach on the mouth of the port, as can be seen in the images of TV3.

The reaction of the authorities has been successful, and a draga has already begun to dismount the "whims of Eolo," but given its size it is assuming a huge effort... so it has been asked to the management of Ports, the one that will strengthen the material available to this effect... so it is already heading to Catalan waters a draga based in Cadiz, which is 20 times more powerful... and which is expected next Monday in Premiá de Mar.
