The serious institutional crisis that the Nàutic Cambrils Club is experiencing has led a group of partners led by Tarraconense businessman Ramón Marsal to decide to take a step forward and to promote a motion of censorship, to be voted by an "extraordinary assembly of partners," to be held in the next 20 days, in accordance with social statutes.
The events were hasty this week when the motion promoters expected the Board of Directors or at least its president and comedian to resign after having lost the vote in the Assembly last day 11... where the negative votes doubled the positive in favour of Vallverdu...
The motion of censorship has been promoted by just over a hundred partners... much more than the necessary 60 in line with the rules in force at the Club. The motion of censure must now be approved by two thirds of the number partners attending the "extraordinary assembly," to be effective.
Those who have promoted the motion are optimistic about the potential of the partners who are very upset by the latest events... despite the doubt of being able to win one another, it is in the mind of managers and censors... The common sense so far has prevailed in the tasks of the annoying partners... because according to them the partners have willingly accepted the situation, and have unreservedly supported those who pose drastic changes in the Club.
In the event that the motion was approved, a Board of Directors, led by Ramón Vallverdú, would be appointed to deal with the day-to-day activity of the Club, and would convene the elections for a new board of directors within three months.
Little pattern for such a ship
Success has clouded that affable president, with excellent image and who apparently had everything tied and well tied... That great president who was Joaquím Oliva, had left him the Club in an enviable situation, with excellent relations with local and autonomous authorities... but above all with a professional staff of the highest level...
The Nüutic Cambrils of being a quality club, but irrelevant in the state concert, became a great nautical club achieving sound successes in the organization of events, as well as in its School of Sailing... considered among the best of the entire Peninsula. Cambrils began to sound strong and clear in the very powerful Catalan candle... to the point of being considered the best quarry.
At the international level, the fact that the Nàutic was behind the Spanish Team in the very prestigious Young Americas Cup was a decisive thing. Its quality facilities, its excellent... Cambrils was an antological whole, in which from the cleaning services, the office staff, to the sailing technicians, through their sailors, their excellent restoration... The success has been taken ahead of Ramón Vallverdú, who has not been able to carry the cane of this pure blood in the stern to 25 knots... clearly the ship has gone away of orza... has lost several luxury crew members of his crew, avoiding his excellent and valuable work putting them on a tray to the competition...
There are times of change for a board of directors, and a president, who has been overloaded by the speed tips of his ship.
