This was the final general in the water of pliers, in which more than 400 optimistic people from 29 countries have been quoted. The podium was copied by Italy and Ireland, being the fourth square for England and the fifth for Spain... Jaime Ayarza Montenegro of the Royal Nautical Club of Gran Canaria was the best of the "Rojita..."

The curious fact was the Italian Cortese, the absolute winner... who did it for his regularity... because he did not achieve a first in the new sleeves held... the subchampion who was only three points left was the Irish Wright who achieved 4 first and 2 seconds!... but to whom the disqualification on the last sleeve cost the title.

Excellent in chicas the Italian Lisa Vucetti who was also third absolute and who achieved 51 points (by 38 of the Italian Cortese and 48 of the Irish Wight)... who took the female title. Impressive.

The Spanish candle managed to bring in three other boys (Marc Mesquida de Mallorca, Roberto Aguilar de Benalmádena - who was the first to have had of the Spanish team, two - and Xavier García also of Mallorca)... and Nora García of the Casa del Náutico el Masnou which was the best of ours and ninth to absolute.

Total and absolute success of the Royal Nautical Club of Torrevieja, which has consolidated its appointment as a reference for the optimal class in southern Europe.

The Euromarina Optimist Torrevieja Trophy reaches its final line after exceeding the third day today. A day that has been the worst of all in terms of wind conditions, very unstable with many direction changes and little intensity or almost no wind. Some ingredients that have enabled us to meet only one test for the gold group and one for silver, bronze and pearl have been left blank, despite trying on several occasions.

In this final series, the Irish Rocco Wright (HYC) has not had its day, and that thirty-first place achieved has deprived it of giving the final blow to sentence the Torreviejese race. This partial, after the discarded applied, leaves it with 7 points, for 15 of the second of the table, the Italian Niccolò Pulito (TMV - National Italy Team) who has been successful with a partial triumph. The provisional bronze is also for another Italian regatist: Alessandro Cortese (CV Crotone National Italy Team) who is left with 18 points after signing a 9th today.

In females, the Italian Lisa Vucetti (SV Barcola Grignano - National Italy Team) has a 10th day on this penultimate day. For the moment, in the absence of a day and at least two tests, the Catalan Nora García (CN Masnou) and Polish Ewa Lewandowska (AZS AWFiS Gdansk) accompany him on the podium.

For the SUB13 two Spaniards lead the provisional classification. Tim Lumbat (Federation Balear de Vela) is first, while in females the first of the table is the Valencian Blanca Ferrando (RCN Valencia). Adriana Castro, for her part, remains the best qualified in terms of the premises, yet even though today has not been her day, signing a 60º of the gold group.

The qualifying series is closed in the Eurobarina Optimist Torrevieja Trophy, giving way in the next two days to the final round... so each participant can discard its worst score.

The Italian Lisa Vucetti (SV Barcola Grignano - National Italy Team) rules in girls, and the Canary Islands Sara Díaz (RCN Gran Canaria) is second, while the Polish Ewa Lewandowska (AZS AWFIS Gdansk) is third.

As far as the children are concerned, the Irish Rocco Wrigjt is a leader since the canary Jaime Ayarza after being penalized in the second trial left Wright... in the third square two Italians tied to 9 points: Tommaso De Fontes (CN Nic Catania - National Team ITALY) and Alessandro Cortese (CV Crotone National Italy Team)... the best Spanish on the table, unique on the top ten, is the Marc Mesquida (CN S'Arenal- Balearic Federation of Vela) which is located in the 8th square.

The first day, of the four planned in the Eurobarina Optimist Torrevieja Trophy, is closed in compliance with the program planned with two tests completed for the four groups, yes, complicated and long day in Torrevieja where the Canary Pablo Tejera (RCN Gran Canaria), sailing in the yellow group, and the Italian Lisa Vucetti (SV Barcola Grignano - National Italy Team), in the blue fleet, have placed provisional leaders worthy of two partial triumphs by the Spanish regatist and a 3rd and 6th of the Italian.

At 10: 00, delta was spun for all groups, with a wind forecast of 6-8 knots of intensity, oscillating on a 320th axis that made it presagiar that they were all going to be quite fast, but... At 11.25 a.m. the changes in the direction of the wind made it possible to cancel for the white group, the rest of the groups have completed the first test. At 1305 hours a new exit could be made with a wind of a component This somewhat slower in intensity, although it has managed to stay between the 4-6 knots.

The Italian and Spanish fleets have marked this start of race in Torrevieja with 8 representatives in the top ten (5 Spain and 3 Italy).
