The Andalusian Arturo Arauz has been proclaimed the absolute champion of the sixth edition of the City of Puerto- Trophy Excellence Cup of Optimist, which ended in El Puerto de Santa María... the absolute silver and bronze are for the Swedish Birgersson and the also the Gaditan Marta Franco respectively.

Arauz, a regatist of the CN Puerto Sherry, who defended the second position tied to points with the regatist of the CNM Benalmádena, Roberto Aguilar, has been able to play his cards well and with a 4th and a 9th he achieves the objective of renewing the title for the second consecutive year.

In an absolute tenth place, there is the champion Sub 13, the regatist of the CDN Punta Umbria Rodrigo Luis González, who is accompanied on this podium by the balear Leonardo D'Angelo and the regatist of the CN Elcano Alberto Medel, 13th and 21st absolutes, respectively.

The female podium in this category has as its champion Alba Moreno, of the CR Madrid, with the second and third place at the hands of Clara García, of the CN Altea, and Carmen Martin-Prat, of the CN Puerto Sherry.

Finally, the leading champion Sub 11 is Miguel Pineda, of the RCN of El Puerto de Santa María, the only regatist of this category in the gold group.
