The Harbour Authority of the Balearic Islands paralyzes the application of the repair rate

Consider the sector, that the active presence in the Council of the Balear Harbour Authority of the nautical sector would, unambiguously, help not to reproduce situations like those that have been experienced and that have kept our entrepreneurs in a state of alarm (Photography of Varadero STO Shipyard Palma)
Following the unanimous response of the nautical sector of the Balearic Islands, the Balear Harbour Authority, meeting yesterday its Council, took the decision to postpone the entry into force of the Pliego of particular conditions of the commercial service of repair and maintenance of ships and ships in the ports of Palma, Alcudia, Mahón, Ibiza and the Savina, approved by Resolution of the same entity last 28 June and published in the BOE last November. This decision of the APB sets 1 July 2020 as the date for the entry into force of the standard.
The nautical sector in ANEN, AENIB, AEGY and the Balearic Marine Cluster - associations with the highest representation of nautical companies affected by this new regulation - wants to record the opportunity for nautical companies on the islands to work together and coordinated together with the APB to ensure that a measure of this stock has the highest sectoral consensus and is supported by the companies operating in the Balearic Islands.
The Balearic Islands as a whole are a reference in repair and maintenance in the European and international environment. The immediate entry into force of this resolution would have affected the economic activity of a sector that the Govern Balear has described as strategic for the activity of the Islands.
The productivity of the nautical companies of the Balearic Islands (EUR 171 million of added value), the second autonomous community with the greatest economic impact of the Spanish nautical of recreation, would be adversely affected by the imposition of this standard.
