The Royal Nautical Club of Valencia thus creates its first gala for recognition of merits that exceed the Valencia Community, seeking an annual meeting with all the athletes of national and international elite who train, compete and leave the club quarry, which since 1903 has made the nautical sport a flag (Photo Pep Portas)

The Real Club Náutico de Valencia held its Gala del Sporte and Christmas dinner, a great party in which managers, athletes of all classes, many partners and friends who enjoyed the sports and festive atmosphere at the club's facilities, met.

The event began with the recognition of the sport merit of sailing and tennis, sports in which the members of the club have achieved national and international wins. The winners were Quique "Quicorras" Urios and Filippo Binetti, regatists of 29er, Francesco Zampacavallo and Carlos Francés of class Vaien, Isidro Codoñer in Laser 4.7, the vessel Brujo, by Alberto de Castro in class Cruciero, Toni Ballester in Class A and Carlos Espí in Optimiss.

From the Snipe class the couples formed by Agustín Zabalúa and Louis Moyan and José Luis Maldonado and Alexandre Tinocco and José María "El Nano" Belda in the Legend Master class of Snipe were awarded. Pablo Montañés, Víctor SantPau and Víctor Martínez were the winners in tennis.
