The race in Tarifa decides the podium of the annual circuit... Kiko Peiró and Gunnar Binasch close the podium of the kitefoil competition

After a season where sixty-eight regatists of fourteen different nationalities have participated in the Kite Spain Series Formula, Tarifa has put the gold brooch on this national kitefoil circuit, making it one of the European reference light sailing circuits.

Alejandro Citation, a reference to this Olympic sailing modality in Spain, was proclaimed winner of the Formula Kite Spain Series 2019 after conquering the podiums disputed in Mallorca and Cuenca, signing a second place in Castellón and finishing fourth at the last stop in Tarifa.

After Citation, Kiko Peiró, already considered the sportsman of the year in the Formula Kite class, has led the youth classification of the circuit from beginning to end, signing this hopeful second place in the general of the circuit and has enabled him to collect, in addition to the five hundred euros of the first youth, the thousand euros of his second place in the Formula Kite Spain Series 2019.

The Canarian regatist Gunnar Biniasch closes the podium of the kitefoil circuit after a season where it has demonstrated its enormous potential and has led it to collect the 500 euros that accompany its third place in the Formula Kite Spain Series 2019.

Alejandro Citation was the first Spanish to show that he is still the most regatist in the form of the national squadron. With a meritorious fourth place he remained a step away from going up to the first step of the chosen.

In the female category, Spain was able to enter the disputed podium by Gisela Pulido, who in his first race in Spain since he sailed in this Olympic class won the third position after the Russian regatist Valeria Garashchenko and the Polish Julia Damasiewicz, first and second respectively.
