The Sal Route will have a great novelty in the Sant Antoni Trophy of Portmany, an inshore race of about 10 miles within the Bay of Sant Antoni of Portmany, scheduled for Sunday, April 12, 2020, to enable the teams participating in the different "versions" to measure their potential in a fast and very tactical circuit...

The thirty-third edition of the La Sal Route will consist of three different departures to Ibiza... three options that make up this great event of the cruise sail... the Mediterranean reference in its philosophy; between 9 and 12 April.

There will be three exits... from Port Ginesta in Barcelona, from Denia and from Port of Andraxt, in Mallorca with arrivals, in all cases, in the ibicenco Sant Antoni of Portmany... where 200 ships with 1200 crew will arrive from a dozen countries.

A single race with three versions

The departure of the Barcelona version of La Sal, coordinated by Club Maritim Port Ginesta, involves competing on a 140-mile direct route to Ibiza. The Denia Version, which is organized from the Royal Nautical Club of Denia, will force its participants to cover a 120-mile circuit, taking Formentera by port, the Island of Tagomago and, sailing on the northern coast of Ibiza, reaching Sant Antoni. Finally, the teams that choose to compete in the Mallorca version will take the exit, under the technical supervision of the Club Vela Port d'Andratx heading to St. John's. Antoni de Portmany leaving the islands of Tagomago, Formentera, Es Vedrá, Bledas and Rabbit for starboard. A total of about 103 miles of singladura.
