Climate change is an increasingly evident reality that creates an almost widespread consensus in society. The nautical sector will become one of the main affected by this global problem, due to the increase in sea level volume. For this reason, the Andalusian sports ports, associated with the Association of Marine Sports Ports of Andalusia, have already been launched and have begun studies to implement measures in their facilities that will promote sustainability and environmental care.
In this way, the Andalusian sports ports are ahead of the laws that will probably start to establish the administrations in the coming years, as was shown at the recent Professional Days of Marine of Andalusia.
One of the most important points in the fight for the climate emergency is the organization of public awareness activities. Marinas de Andalucía is currently working on the 'Libera, united against the basurial' campaign. An initiative launched by SEO / BirdLife and Ecoembes, which aims to raise public awareness to keep natural spaces free of waste. To this end, our associated ports are distributing material to inform users about the importance of biodiversity.
