The Spanish Laser 4.7 Youth Championship, held in the Autonomous City of Melilla, ended this Sunday with the strong wave as a great protagonist and a blank day because the poniente role has not increased to more than 4 knots. Daniel Cardona, after a few very intense days in the race field, has managed to get the highest degree both at the absolute level and in Sub 16, by imposing himself at the head of the classification already in the second manga of the championship. After Cardona have been made with the silver the menorcan David Ponseti, of the Náutic Ciutadella Club, and with the bronze the Valencian Mariano Cibrián of the Nautical Club of Benidorm.

For its part, the Majorcan regatist Cristina Vilariño has conquered the gold in category Sub 16 female ahead of the Valentian Claudia Adam (CN Santa Pola) and the Galician Teresa (RFGV - Galego Sport) who have achieved the second and third podium positions respectively.

The Organization

The Spanish Laser 4.7 Championship was coordinated and led by the Real Club Marítimo de Melilla, starting last Wednesday and with the presence of 118 regatists from 10 autonomous communities.... which had the collaboration of the Autonomous City of Melilla, the Melilla Nautica project 2019 and the TransMediterranean Arms Group among others.
