The "April Oils" conquers its sixth title in the Open of Autumn-Repsol Trophy after achieving a second place in the last of its three races

"Oils Abril" by the Pérez Canal brothers of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo ends the year with new title by conquering the Open of Autumn-Repsol Trophy for Cruises ORC, after being imposed on Saturday in the third and last race of the series in the ria.

Cid's partial triumph did not bring about any change in the first position of the final general of the Open, since the series of the First 44.7 patroned by Luis and Jorge Pérez Canal (2-1-2) has given him the title, but it has altered the other two positions of the final podium. The J109 "Bon III" (Víctor Carrión, RCN Vigo), the first provisional leader of this competition, has finished third.

His sixth place this Saturday in compensation (3: 39 minutes from the "Deep Blue 2.0") prevented him from not only debanding the "April" but also defending the subchampionship, which is taken by Cid's Dufour 34.

In Solitaries and A Two, the "Don Pansa" (Alberto de Sousa and Ana Teresa Oliveira, RFGV) made good the third one, the defeat... and beat the JOD 35 "Marara 4" (Javier Montenegro and Vanese Martínez, Club Marítimo Rías Baixas), which has nevertheless been awarded the title (1-1-2, 4 points in the final).

The Open of Autumn - Repsol Trophy closes tomorrow Saturday the heavy sailing season on the calendar of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo... the closing sleeve from three in the afternoon with nothing decided: "Oils April" (Pérez Canal brothers, RCN Vigo) and "Bon III" (Víctor Carrión, RCN Rodeira), tied to three points, play the title in Full ORC (full crews), with the "Deep Blue 2.0" (Vicente Cid, RCN Vigo), with 6 points, completing the podium.
