The Auckland World Championship is about to be caramel and in all three classes there is still a fierce struggle to climb in a classification, which will seal the Olympic passport for a handful of countries: five in Nacra 17, four in 49er and six in 49er FX.

In this battle, Spain continues to maintain its possibilities after the excellent work of all the participating crews, the Nacra 17 being the most advanced class, in which the canaria Tara Pacheco and Florian Trittel are located in the first place of the countries fighting for the Olympic square, in the 9th place of the general. France, Germany, the United States and Norway are following you in the fight at 10, 13, 14, 15 and 21, respectively, on a 75-point fork.

In 49er, with four places in liza, Spain is also at the top of the list of countries looking for Olympic square, with the cantabre Diego Botín and the Galician Iago López Marra in the fourth place of the world general. Austria, the Netherlands and Poland are the following countries classified within the Olympic margin, in posts 6, 8 and 10 respectively, with 23 points among them.

The class that presents the most complications for the Spanish team is the 49th FX, with six places in play, where the Galician Patricia Suárez and Nicole van der Velden, at 12, have ahead of Germany, Argentina, the United States and Poland, and behind Singapore, the latter with a single point of difference.

If there is a class where everything is in a fist and to decide is certainly that of the 49th FX women, with 10 countries - among the top 20 countries - fighting tomorrow for only 6 places to go to Tokyo 2020.

In the general classification of the day of 49er FX Patricia Suarez and Nicole Van der Velden they move to the 12th place - scoring 13-11-16- and the Munté sisters (BMW Oliva Motor) are 24 - with a 19-25-20-.

Tara Pacheco and Florian Trittel have again marked a first place in their partials on an unequal day in results in Nacra 17: 21-1-18, accusing the variable conditions of the Gulf of Hauraki. Triving first day of the final series with three races disputed for each class and wind conditions strengthening in the Gulf of Hauraki, to which the Spanish crews are demonstrating good control of the circumstances and full concentration in the main goal of this world: to classify Spain for the Tokyo Games.

In class 49er FX, where only the Brazilian crew Gral / Kunce keeps their position in front of the table, while after them, up to 20 crews are in a tight confrontation with minimal score differences and representatives of 11 countries looking for the Olympic Square.

Something clearer seems to be the case in 49er, where it is Botín and López Marra who lead the Olympic fight group, although their persecutors are close and at a few points.

Big day for the Spanish team at the 49er World Championship, 49er FX and Nacra 17, with brilliant performances of our crews to achieve the pass of Spain, in the three classes, to the final series that begin tomorrow Thursday.

The first 25 classified classes 49er and 49er FX, and 50% of the Nacra 17 fleet, move to the final phase as a gold group, while the rest of the unclassified registered will fight the silver and bronze groups along 8 races... The final outcome will be on Sunday, December 8, when the top 10 of each class will see the faces on the Medal Race.

Spain enters the Oro Group of the hand of the crew of the cantabre Diego Botín and the Galician Iago López Marra (QuironSalud) that in an epic day have come up in a spectacular way, scoring large partials of 1, 3 and 4, rising from the 29th position to the 9th, tied with the eighth classified.

Excellent day for the crew of Patricia Suarez and Nicole van der Velden that are located in each of the tests disputed in the top 10 - dating from the 13th position to the 8th - with a partial of 9-5-9-7 that allow them to fight from tomorrow in the gold group.

For their part, the Munté sisters (BMW Motor Oliva) have given Spain two epic first positions in two of the four races that have been held in the day, to which they have added an 11th and a 19th from a 39th place yesterday to an 18th.

The crew of Tamara Echegoyen and Paula Barceló (Movistar), who were hit by the injury and subsequent rehabilitation of Barceló, have not been lucky despite the efforts of both. The team had decided to compete in the world to join the Spanish army and fight for the Olympic Square, being aware of the limitations they might find.

04 / 12 / 2019: Second day in Auckland of the Nacra17, 49er and 49erFX World Cup

Iker Martínez and Olga Maslivets (Movistar) is the best ranked team with a 9th among the Nacra 17, and Patricia Suárez and Nicole van der Velden, who have joined a first, are also ranked 13 among the girls of the 49th FX. Disgust for Diego Botín and Iago López (Quiro) in 49er who suffer a disqualification in the fifth race.

After a blank day for overwind, Iker Martínez and Olga Maslivets premiered in the world with a ninth place in the top 10 of the joint table of the different groups in which the fleet is divided, accumulating a 5-4-5 as best partial and dismissing the 15 of the first test of the day.

Tara Pacheco and Florian Trittel have also developed a good contact with the world, adding partial top 10 in all the contested sleeves: 8-7-8-10, to close this first day at the 18.

The classification begins to take shape in 49er after computing six sleeves of the classification phase, with the usual crews taking positions at the front of the table.

Despite a good progression in their results, Diego Botín and Iago López have seen as a second place in the fifth race became a disqualified following the protest of the Irish team of Seaton and Guilfoyle for a babor@-@ starboard that leads them to the 30-point of the table. With an off-line on the last test of the day, the Alonso brothers (El Gaitero) maintain position 31 of the general.

With five world days to be held, the seven crews of the Spanish pre-Olympic team have before them one more day of qualifying races, with a planned program of 9 tests of which three in 49er and five in 49er FX and Nacra 17 would not be held, and a situation of the Spanish crews on the table that presupposes the pass to the final series in all classes.

Complicated first day of testing in the 49er World Championship, 49erFX and Nacra 17 due to the severe weather conditions that have hit Auckland, with the passage of a powerful front that has left winds of more than 30 knots and much rain in the race fields.
