The Annual Sailing Gala of the Royal Astur Club of Regatas was held in Gijón

The Real Club Astur de Regatas de Gijón, held on Friday night the Gala de la Vela Anual, in which a large part of the trophies played during the year were delivered, including the Spring and Summer Trophy of Light Sailing and Spring and Fall of Cruise.
The Championships of Asturias of Optimist, Laser Radial, 4.7 and Snipe, the prize for the Regularity and Championship of Asturias of Vela Radio Control and the Trophy of Hispanity. All of these tests organized by the Gijón Regatas Club during this season and that have been in many hours of competition, both in light sailing and in cruise sailing.
The president of the Regatas Club, Alfredo Alegría was accompanied in the delivery by the regatist of the Olympic Gold Club and medal, Angela Pumayega, who were in charge of delivering the Trofeos. Alegría congratulated the winners and encouraged everyone present to continue sailing and competing next year.
In the Championships of Asturias the winners were: Gonzalo Jaudenos in Optimist, Jacobo Fernández won in Laser 4.7 and Laser Radial, Jaime Álvarez-Hevia and Ignacio Braña were the best among the Snipes. Jorge Fernández revalidated his title at the MicroMagic regional.
Covadonga Fernández in the Optimist class, Alfonso Jaudenos in Laser 4.7 and Carlos Ordoñez and Leticia Pelayo in Snipe occupied the first places in the Spring Trophy. Covadonga Fernández and Alfonso Jaudenos repeated the triumph in the Summer Trophy, in Optimise and Laser 4.7, while among the Snipes the winners were José Palacio and Alberto Suárez.
In the Trophy of Hispanity, Gonzalo Jaudenes went up to the top of the drawer in Optimist, Bruno González did the same thing among the Laser Radial, and again José Palacio and Alberto Suárez were imposed in Snipe.
In the Cruise class, the Taxus MedioAmbiente, by Alfredo Flórez revalidated the title in the Spring Trophy in Class I, the University of Oviedo- Grupo Isastur was the best in Cruise II and the Espumeru, by Antonio Bauza scored another triumph in Class III.
As for the Trophy of Autumn the Bullbox, by Luis Noguera was made with the first place in group I, the University of Oviedo- Grupo Isastur repeated in Cruciero II and the Espumeru, by Antonio Bauza did the same in the III. The Trophy to regularity was shared on this occasion by the Mambo, by José Enrique García and the Ita II, by Pedro Guerra.
