Great success of Ibernautics, which puts end and end to the week Abanca 2019
Susana Lenguas, the newly named Portos de Galicia presenter dependent on the Xunta de Galicia, closed Ibernática and thus put an end to the Week Abanca 2019, in which three thousand athletes have competed in the waters of the four Galician provinces over two months, in the four nautical sports with the greatest tradition: sailing, rowing, pyragüism and nautical skiing; in which it is the multinational reference event at national level.
A congress plot of the Abanca Week, which has been held since 2013 under the name of Ibernática, was held in the Real Club de Mar de Aguete, two days in which issues related to "sustainable maritime navigation" have been discussed with the support of the Campus del Mar led by the University of Vigo, the College of Naval Engineers Anfaco, the Spanish Maritime Cluster, the Royal Academy of the Sea, the Concello de Marín and the Xunta de Galicia... among other institutions.

The second day began with the presentation by the vice president of the Club de Aguete, Raúl Oltra, of the project that wants to make its marina a reality. In the event with the presence of the Mayor of María Ramallo, the need for a project agreed by all forces to be carried out among all Marín was put on the table, under the sign of sustainability and maximum respect for the very beautiful environment of the river of Pontevedra (Photo Pedro Seoane).
After this exhibition, the most awaited table came with a living room of the Viguese Oceanographic, Fran Saborido, director of the Institute of Marine Research, the prestigious Saleta González, president of Equilateral, José María Suárez Llanos and Marcos Riesta de Sasemar, and José Carlos González, by the Civil Guard of the Sea... more than two hours were insufficient to respond to the many questions that were presented to the world's cultural development.
The leaders of Ibernautics committed themselves to be able to organize a full day on this subject at the least opportunity, in which all demonstrated a high interest. Finally, Francisco García de Bobadilla, as president of Ibernática, announced the celebration of the fifth edition, in the second half of November 2020 in the cities of La Coruña and Sada.
22 / 11 / 2019: The Abanca Week confirms its support for the competitions of "solar" ships
First day of Ibernáutica- Concello de Marín in the Real Club de Mar de Aguete, cycle congress nautical to the Abanca Week. More than a hundred attendees on the first day, which was inaugurated by Daniel Rey, director of the Vigo Sea Campus of which the universities of Galicia and northern Portugal are part, as well as twelve speakers who worked at the two inaugural tables: naval industry and nautical sports industry, from the point of view of sustainability.
The first presentation, conducted by Javier Pamies, was by one of the most prestigious naval engineers at the national level: José Fernando Núñez Basañez, who was director of the Escuela Superior de Ingenieros Naval de Madrid; who dealt with the electric ships.
Together with him, the engineer Raimundo Tapia, technical manager of Rodman, who discussed the sustainability of the type of shipbuilding of the sports yard he represents. He completed the José Ballester table of Xouva, pioneers in the ships that operate with solar energy, the director of Progener who work in marine engines with alternative fuels, such as liquefied gas; and Carlos Sanlorenzo director of the national nautical cluster.
After lunch by the representative of the Galician nautical clubs, Javier Ruiz de Cortázar, formed the François Pino de Marine Instruments table, and representatives of Repsol, Reganosa, YP Marinas and the director of Portos de Galicia Roi Fernández Añón.
François Pino was invited by the Abanca Week, so that together in the short term it is organized within the competitions, a reserved to the motoronautics... but in a special way. Like the Yacht Club of Monaco, to organize a boat race, powered by solar energy.
The letter was immediately accepted by the Secretary General of the Abanca Manuel Pedro Seoane Week, as well as by the sports representative of the University of Vigo Alfonso Mandado. All have undertaken to start work immediately to create an official competition team, and one of the cycles of the 2020 or 2021 editions is reserved for the engine world.
In closing, the 2020 edition of Ibernática was presented, to be held in La Coruña and Sada in the second half of November. For the second day of the congress, with the table of the "environment" in which will participate Coca Cola, the Harbour Authority of Vigo, Anfaco, the biologist Victoria Besada, Sasemar and the Civil Guard of the Sea. The closing and delivery of diplomas will be held at 1: 30 p.m., chaired by Susana Lenguas Gil, president of Portos de Galicia.
2019 / 11 / 21: Abanca Week: Start in Marin Ibernática, with sustainability by flag
It begins at the Real Club de Mar de Aguete at 10: 00 in the morning of Thursday with a conference by the director of the Campus of the Sea leading the University of Vigo, at the hand of the Organizing Committee of the Abanca Week, the Iberonautical Congress.
The argument for the two days the "Sustainable maritime navigation," focused essentially on the sports plot; with the direction of the prestigious naval engineer Javier Pamies, who was part of the project cabinet of the Spanish Challenge of the Copa América, and by general coordinator to the Vigués journalist Jorge Alonso.
120 congressmen attend Ibernática, from nautical sports federations, nautical clubs, sports marinas, industry professionals, sportsmen and university... under the motto of raising awareness of the world of nautical sport and companies in the sector of the imperative need to undertake determined projects on sustainability.
The president of the congress in charge of the Luzense Francisco García de Bobadilla, which has managed a twenty-second of presentations, distributed in three tables: that of the naval industry that will moderate Javier Pamies himself, that of sports nautical in charge of the president of the Galician nautical cluster Asnauga Javier Ruiz de Cortázar and that of the environment with the president of the Nautico de Sada, Enrique Tosado of moderator.
The program is completed by the prelude of what will be Iberonautics 2020, to be held in La Coruña and Sada, with a conference by the Lieutenant Colonel of the Spanish Navy Fernando Soto Maceiras... being also confirmed the presence of the Chief Admiral of Victorian Naval Teaching Gilabert Agote. The closure will take place on Friday at the noon edge.
In Ibernática there are numerous institutions and companies involved, in the case of the Campus of the Sea, the University of Vigo, the Nautical School, the College of Naval Engineers of Spain, the Spanish Maritime Cluster, the Royal Academy of the Sea, the Concello de Marín, the Xunta de Galicia, Abanca, Asnauga, Coca Cola, Vanguard Marine, Anfaco, the Hermeric Association, the Club Marítimo de Vigo, the Spanish Confederation of Nautic and Marine Clubs, as well as the Royal Galician and Santiago Gastronomical Associations.
