The Marina de València will premiere next June "La Marineta," a new area of mooring at the foot of the Veles e Vents, for boats between 12 and 20 meters long. The area will have a total of 41 moorings arranged around the old High Cube and at the foot of the emblematic building Veles e Vents, occupying a total area of 3,105m2. The reservations are already open to the shipowners concerned, who will be able to tie their ships from June.

One of the great demands of La Marineta is certainly its strategic location just 10 minutes from the city center, and with easy access by public transport. In addition, La Marina de València has a complete offer of gastronomy, sports and nautical services, leisure and culture, in a city with more than 300 days of sun per year and excellent conditions to navigate.

At the level of additional services for the shipowners of La Marineta, the Valencia Consortium 2007 plans to place toilets next to the new mooring area, and to offer services such as wifi on the boat, 24-hour security, parking in the Veles e Vents, laundry and waste management. The area will have a coffee shop on foot open 365 days a year to service the ships ensuring a close not beyond 24 hours.

The rates of La Marineta, which have just seen the light, range from 20 euros a day for the ships of 12 meters length, to 10,325 euros a year for the ships of 20 meters length, being only 7% higher than in the area of the North Navy, which already has all of the moorings occupied. The shipowners concerned can already book their mooring in La Marineta and start to enjoy it since June.
