Portuguese becomes part of the technical body of the RFEV performing the work of coach of the class 470 female, in support of Gustavo Martínez Doreeste

Alvaro Marinho has been incorporated into the technical structure of the Real Federación Española de Vela as a reinforcement to the work carried out by Gustavo Martinez- Doreeste with the class 470 female.

The Portuguese has a long sports palmaris (four Olympic Diplomas - London 2012, Beijing 2008, Athens 2004 and Sidney 2000 - as well as several continental and global titles in 470, among others).

In recent years Marinho has been a coach of the Swiss team of 470 women, of the pre-Olympic Portuguese team of the same class or of the laureate British team, as well as serving various teams of the Youth America's Cup, TP52 and RC44.
