Juan Vieito... the vineyard is the owner and sir... for the last day, where the Committee will try to validate another three or four sleeves, as long as weather conditions allow

This second day of the Spanish Formula Championship Windsurfing in the Ria de Pontevedra has been presented quite different, with a much nicer sea and wind conditions than those experienced on Friday, where the component has marked its axis in the southwest, bearing up to 12 and 14 knots of intensity.

Brilliant performance of the Vigués Juan Vieito, of the Liméns Wind & Sup Club, which runs undisputed leader on the absolute podium, reigning with three points, the result of its partial 2-1-1-1. In the global general, he is followed by the Luso Vasco Chaveca, of the Naval Clube of Portimao, which sails in the Open format, being Master and with 7 total points (34DNF-3-2-2). And the provisional bronze is for another of the Galician graduates, Ignacio Fernández, also from the Liméns Wind & Sup Club, with just one point more than the Portuguese (3-2-3-3), which would be second in the Absolute category.

With regard to the category Gran Master, its headline is the Andalusian Jaime Andrés Castro, of the Club de Vela Valdelagrana. In veterans he commands the madrileño José María Ochoa, from the Nautical Serranillo Center. And in Juvenil the leader is Jorge Robleda, from the Liméns Wind & Sup Club.

The harsh weather conditions that reigned throughout the day of this Friday first November were the causes why the Committee of the Spanish Formula Windsurfing Championship decided to suspend, for safety, the first tests of this national meeting.

By Saturday it seems that the wind will be in the 15 knots... I wish these watchings are fulfilled... start of the sleeves, if the wind allows it at 11: 00 in the morning.
