Expedition of the J.L. School of Ugarte of the Maritime of the Abra to Donosti

The regatists of the Escuela de Vela José Luis de Ugarte took the first positions in the Trophy Real Club Nautico of San Sebastián held on the weekend in waters of the capital gipuzcoana. Once again throughout the year, the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club showed its idyllium with the light candle mode with very good results in the different classes in which it competed.

Thus, Gabriel Oraá was again the best in the busy Optimist class, by clearly imposing himself on his first four positions in six tests. It ended with 7 points, for the 20 of the Hondarribitarra Marco Espinosa, the second classified. In addition, Erlantz Franco and Daniela Voss also collided among the top ten, being eighth and ninth, respectively.

The triumph of the Maritime representatives was also strong in the Feva class, in which Pablo Zeron and Julen Edelman defeated, with a point of advantage over Nacho García-Santamarina and Ander Edelman. Macarena Urrutia and Marta Casares were third for the club to make full on the podium. Arantxa Sellhorn and Lucía Masso finished fourth, Jon Ander Balado and Amelia Basterra were ranked sixth and Paula Voss and Irene Rey-Baltar were seven.

For their part, in the Laser Radial class, the regatists of Las Arenas were among the first with Martin Bueno Segundo, Ignacio Aja third, Tanis Rey-Baltar fourth, Iñigo Lejarraga fifth, Iñigo Abasola seventh and Ander Sánchez eighth. Only the cantabre Fernando Sales, the final winner, questioned his dominance in this class. In Laser 4.7, Aitor Carton was fifth and Mikel Ibiricu was ranked in sixth place.
