This first Event has been won by the Argentine Spirit of Alginet by Gabriel Mariani in a hard fight with Tenaz de Pablo Garriga with the canary champion Rayco Tabares on board and with the English Seriucos Fun by Mark Lees.

After two days of little wind, this Sunday the flora of J70 was able to complete the four planned tests, enjoying a cheerful Garby that would sometimes exceed 12 knots of intensity.

The days of Friday and Saturday were marked by the almost total absence of wind, so that only three of the eight scheduled tests could be completed. In these circumstances, Serious Fun showed great superiority by winning the two trials on Friday, while in the only contest on Saturday, Spirit of Alginet would be imposed.

Already on Sunday Spirit of Alginet would finish third in the first test, which was fought with little wind, to point to victory in the remaining three when the wind was encouraged. Tenaz has shown a remarkable regularity with six seconds of posts topped by a quarter.

The general classification after this first Event the head of Spirit of Alginet with 10 points, followed by Tenaz de Pablo Garriga with 12 and Serious Fun with 13, lamented by his No Departure from the Saturday test.
