The design of Bruce Farr on 40 feet of the Spanish Navy's Naval Regatta Commission in Ferrol, "Mirfak" with Diego López as the patron, was proclaimed this Sunday to be the winner of the Terras Guda Regata belonging to the Abanca Week, which has organized the Nautical Club of Sada. After this cruise test, Abanca Week is heading for rowing competitions. The first of them on the 9th of November in light waters with the Copa del Cantábrio - Concello de Viveiro that organizes the Club Marítimo de Vigo with the support of the Club de Remo de Celeiro and the Federación Galician de Remo; the second in the waters of the river of Pontevedra... the Copa Galicia - Concello de Marín, already on the 16th.

It was not possible to hold the second manga of the Terra Guda Regata. There was fear of predition... that he spoke of soft winds of six knots; but any resemblance to reality was mere fiction: for after about three hours of waiting, he blew absolutely nothing: zero wind. And under these conditions the chief judge of the Guda Wars, the Ferrolano Pedro Alarcón was forced to sound three times the horn of the jury ship and to raise the corresponding flag of the international signal code. The evidence had been overturned.

Therefore and since the claim of the "Alma do Mar" of Nito Enriquez was not successful on Saturday night, the results of the first day became definitive: "Mirfak" for the first time is made with this race, having by podium companions the "Alma do Mar" of the Nautico de Sada and the "Gaias Clinics" of the Royal Nautical Club of Portosín.

These three ships are the ones that take the first squares of the ORC A Class, while in the ORC B "Mascato" is imposed by Enrique Vilariño of the Real Club Náutico de La Coruña, followed by the "Moura" of the young Bermudez de Castro and the "Pezoas" of Nicolás Alvarez of the Maritime Network.

In group C wins "Pingón" of Networks, with Naveiro to the cane... followed by "Somni" of Ria de Ares and "Avrego" of the Náutico de Sada; while in Open the first square is for Pachi Blanco of the Náutico de La Coruña with "Atlantic 3D Printing" with the ferrolano "Grupo Bazán" of second and the "Ushuaia" of Luis Fernández de Sada in third place. Finally in the division of two crew members "Delfyna" (Sada), "Solpor" (Ares) and "Hook" (Ferrol formed the podium.

Good edition of the Terras Guda Regata with a lot of participation: 40 ships and 300 crew, making it the race with the largest participation of the Galician northern area, by the hand of the Abanca Week one more year.

Last hour: the judges have rejected the complaint filed by the "Alma do Mar" pattern against the ships "Mirfak" and "Gaias Clinics," thus the published classification of the first test, does not suffer any variation.

With quite good wind and sea conditions, it began in the waters of the Sada River in the province of La Coruña La Regata Terras Gauda, the Galician fashion race in the fall of the hand of the Organizing Committee of the Abanca Week and the Nautical Club of Sada. Winds of 15 to 20 knots accompanied the more than 40 ORC cruises, which caused a spectacular exit, which was perfectly clean by the great technical capacity of the judges; the 14-mile route in its entirety by the river of Sada, with about 15 miles that was very viscous.

From the beginning the Farr 40 of the Spanish Navy "Mirfak" of the Naval Commission of Regatas of Ferrol, was launched for victory in real time, his pursuer being the "Alma do Mar" of Nito Enriquez. The two ships along with another of the favorites, the "La María" that competes for the Nautico de Sada and the Marítimo de Vigo (co-organizers of the Abanca Week), were going to the shroud of the docks of Sada... while "Clínicas Gaias" of Peinó del Real Club Nautico de Portosín, chose the opposite board... with an "Eleko-Mambo" of the vigués Carlos Sampedro Curbera, which was not able to stand out from the great platoon, which with the logics of the marching, to a place away from the head of the Sampatas.

The "O Riás" of Ramón Carnota del Náutico Ría de Ares, the pontevedrés "X-Grog," the "Atlantic 3D Impression" of Pachi Blanco, the "Mascato" of the also Coruñés Enrique Vilariño and the "Moura" of a member of the Bermudez saga of Castro: Xoan... all ahead of the crew of the "Pescanova" in the legendary World Tour with Javier de la Gandara... Carlos Sampedro that with his "Eleko-Mambo" had to conform to the tenth provisional square.

After the race the judges prepared the classification that is more than ever provisional, because Nito Enriquez the pattern of the "Alma do Mar" presented a complaint to the "Mirfak" and "Gaias Clinics" for understanding that both had taken one of the beacons of the journey in an incorrect way: by port when they should have done it for starboard, in his view... if they gave the reason in the audience that will take place before the beginning of the second test that will be Sunday from 12: 00 in the morning, both would be disqualified... and in this case the "Arpode for the" (") members of the Committee," ("O) will be decided by the" ("O)," ("O).

In any case at 6: 30 p.m. Sunday afternoon, the closing ceremony will take place at the premises of the Nautical Club of Sada, which will have Nava Castro by the Xunta of Galicia and María Nogareda by the Concello of Sada, among other authorities and sponsors.

The Terras Guda Regata has the reputation of being the fashion race of cruises as far as heavy sailing is concerned in the north of Galicia, and once again it will fulfill this saying. Organized by the Nautical Club of Sada and immersed in the Abanca Week, which is the largest cruise race in terms of the participation of the Gulf Artabre will have in line of exit to about forty ships from numerous ports of the Galician coast, with about three hundred crew members on board. The competition as it is traditional has two sleeves, the first for Saturday with the beginning of three in the afternoon and the second on Sunday from 12: 00 in the morning... both tests will be drawn according to the meteological conditions between beacons, by the Ries of Ares and Sada.

Confirmed the presence of the "Mirfak" of the Naval Commission of Regatas of the Navy, with the Ferrolano Diego López to the cane. The Farr 40 of the Navy will be the boat to be beaten... and among those who can hold the party are the "Eleko-Mambo" with the Vigués Carlos Sampedro Curbera to the cane that carries the grympola of the Marítimo de La Penela, the "Alma do Mar" that has as its patron the Coruñés Nito Enriquez, the "La María" by Miguel Angel Fernández with the pavilion of the Náutico Club of Sada and the Club Marítimo de Vigo organizador de la Semana Abanca, "Gaias del Club de Náutico de Náutico," by José María Portoña de Náutico, "by Real" and "José Carlos Caráuña de Náutico de Náuña de Náutico" by "by" El Club de Náutico. These look like the strongest ships a priori.

It is also necessary to highlight the numerous fleet of both the Nautico de Sada and the Maritime of Networks, as well as the Ria de Ares, with ships such as the "Avrego," "Delfyna," "Solpor," "Pingón," "Ardeal," "Lamazan," "Hipocambo," "Mourisca," "Ushuaia" or "Zeppelin" among others, without forgetting the "Nostromo" armed by Enrique Tostado, president of the Nautico of Sada and who is the Vice President of the Week of Abanca. It therefore regates with a lot of participation, with an excellent level in that unparalleled field of races of the Rias of Ares and Sada, at this time of year. After the Guda Wars, the Abanca Week will go to the Rias of Viviero and of Marín-Pontevedra... for the traditional rowing competitions, with the Copa del Cantábrico and the Copa Galicia, in play.
