The Maija of José Luis Pérez, Roberto Simón, Miguel Larrán and Javier Pérez stood up this afternoon in Baiona from the last edition of the Autumn League Axa J80, held since last October in the bay of Baionesa.
They started seconds behind the Namasté after the first assault, but once they got up to the first position, there was no crew able to get them down from the top. They achieved the leadership in the second day, revalidated it in the third day and reached the end with clear aspirations for the title.
This Saturday they were also convinced, and little could their rivals do to take away their announced victory. The Maija maintained the regularity by which it was characterized throughout the league and signed two third and one fourth in the partials.
He finished the league with 22 points, 11 of the Cansino de Fernando Yáñez, which, with 33 points, was second. The bronze of the competition, with 36 points, was for the Spaco of Santiago Estévez.
The New Moon of Juan Luis Tuero and the Namasté of Luis de Mira were left fourth and fifth respectively, with 39 and 42 points; and they completed the classification of the Pazo de Cea de María Campos, which today was imposed in the third test held; the Miúdo de Nico Domínguez, with a crew of students from the School of Sailing of MRCYB; the Petrilla de Jaime Barreiro, which with Javier de la Gandara on board was able to sign a first place in a manga; the Mondo de Bernardo Macedo; the SND Cormorán de Francisco Martínez and the García de Juan de García is the one of the other.

The "Maija" by José Luis Pérez is the new leader of the Axa J80 Autumn League, which organizes the Monte Real Club de Yates de Baiona. The J80 de Pérez is being the most regular of the fleet, as it has not yet fallen from a second partial seat.
Also in excellent line the "Cansino," patronized by Fernando Yáñez, being the third in discord "Luna Nueva" of the ovettense Juan Luis Tuero... "Namasté" by Luis de Mira, former leader, fell to the fourth position; and in the fifth the "Spaco" of Santiago Estévez is maintained.

26 / 10 / 2019: "Namasté" by Luis de Mira begins to command in the Axa League of J80 in Baiona
The Namasté became the first leader of the Axa J80 Autumn League this afternoon after winning in the inaugural day of the monotypes competition that the Monte Real Club de Yates, under the sponsorship of Axa Seguro, will hold until the end of November.
The Namasté of Luis de Mira, with a crew somewhat different from the one he maintained during the 2019 season, managed to impose on the rest of the fleet with 6 points. He reelected the second place to the Maija of José Luis Pérez Vázquez who was, without a doubt, one of the sailing boats that he best regateoned on this day. It started very hard, signing a first and a second, but a fall to the sixth position in the last test took away the final victory. The New Moon of Juan Luis Tuero, another of the usual of the Liga Podias of J80, had to conform to the third place.
Thus the provisional podium was formed in the beginning of the Autumn League of Monotypes J80, in which the Cansino of Fernándo Yáñez and the Spaco of Santiago Estévez, go fourth and fifth in the provisional classification.
The next meeting with the monotypes in Baiona will be on November 9; and there will be two more days on November 23 and 30. So is the classification:

The first day of the AXA J80 Autumn League, the last round of the sports season of the Monte Real Club de Yates in 2019, is hosted by Baiona on Saturday at 3: 00 in the afternoon.
With a fleet of 11 sailing boats in liza, the league will start without a favorite clear on water, as the winner of the last two editions, the Javier de la Gandara, will be low on this occasion for being in the process of preparing the boat for the 2020 season.
The participation of the rest of the crews that completed the podium in 2018 is expected: the Marías Casas do Telhado of the Portuguese Manuel María Cunha, to be second; and the New Moon of the Asturian Juan Luis Tuero, to be made with bronze.
Next to them we will see the usual of the highest positions of the leagues of J80, such as the Cansino del comandoro del Monte Real, Fernando Yáñez, the Namasté de Luis de Mira, the Maija de Iñigo Alzueta, and the Pazo de Cea, among others.
In this new edition of the autumn competition, two new ships will join them: the Petrilla, of Sanxenxo, with Jaime Barreiro to the cane; and the Spaco, of Santiago Estevez.
