The anthem of Spain has welcomed the attendees and the one of Italy has sounded like a colophone of the ceremony

The Italian squadron formed by the Ulika, by Andrea Masi, and the Cuordileone, by Leonardo Ferragamo, today was awarded the Trophy of the Nations of the Nauthor's Swan shipyard. The race has been held since last Thursday at the Real Club Nautico de Palma with the participation of 41 boats from 14 countries, divided into the classes Swan 36, ClubSwan 42, Swan 45 and ClubSwan 50.

The best-classified Spanish ship has been the Nadir (Club de Vela Port d'Andratx), by the shipowner Pedro Vaquer, who has finished fifth in the ClubSwan 42 class, in which the European Championship was at stake. The Mallorcan crew has collected the Juan Sebastián Elcano Prize, commemorating the fifth centenary of the first round of the world, by the Admiral of the Spanish Navy Jaime Rodríguez Touges.

The Aifos 500, patronized by Rodríguez Touges, has finally had to conform to the eighth square of the ClubSwan 50 class after a bad day in which the wind has been very unstable and only a race has been able to come out.

The new world champion of ClubSwan 50 is Russian Skorpios, by Dmitry Rybolovlev, while the same title in Swan 45 has been for the Fever, by German shipowner Klaus Diederichs. The winner of the new Swan 36 class, which has premiered in this competition but did not play any international title, has been Edoardo Ferragamo in command of the Thirtysix.

The race has consisted of six sleeves for the ClubSwan 50 and the Swan 36, and five for the Swan45 and ClubSwan 42 classes. The award was held on the terraces of the Real Club Nautico de Palma with the assistance of all the crews.

The Aifos 500 of the Spanish Navy, patronized by Admiral Jaime Rodríguez Touges, has promoted three positions in the general ranking of the World Championship of ClubSwan 50 that organizes the Royal Nautical Club of Palma in the framework of the Trophy of the Nations of the Nauthor's Swan Shipyard and faces the last day tomorrow in the fifth position, six points from the podium.

Its most direct rivals are the Italian Cuordileone, by Leonardo Ferragamo, fourth to four points, and the German Niramo, by Sönke Meier Sawatzki, third to seven points. The leader, the Russian Skorpios, of Dmitry Rybolovlev, and the second classified, the British Perhonen, of Ross Warburton, will fight to get the championship with a certain margin over the rest of the rivals, but they should not relax. The ClubSwan 50 is a class where mistakes are paid very expensive.

The Italian Thirtysix, of Edoardo Ferragamo, is the provisional leader in Swan 36, with a single point of advantage over the second, his compatriot Sease, of Pier Luigi Loro Piana.

The situation is identical in the Swan 45 class, which also celebrates its World Cup in Palma. A single point separates the German Fever, from Klaus Diederichs, from his persecutor, the Finnish Blue Nights, from Ekengren-Sauren tea.

The Mela, of Italian Andrea Rosi, faces in the head of the table the 42 ClubSwan European Championship with five points of advantage over its maximum contender, also Italian Far Star, by Michele Malandra.

The Nations Trophy brings together 41 ships from 14 countries divided into four categories... the award will be held at the end of the day at the facilities of the Real Club Nautico de Palma.
