El próximo miércoles la muestra catalana abre sus puertas

On Wednesday the Catalan show opens its doors... good atmosphere despite the doubts of the fans about the complicated situation, because of the possible radicalization of Catalan nationalism when the judicial decisions of the "Procés" are made public

A buoy that collects microplastics, a fleet of solar ships and a system of anti-corrosion of boat helmets are some of the final projects of the second edition of the Nautic Tech International Investment Forum, start-ups competition that is held in the framework of the International Nautical Hall of Barcelona and that has sustainability as the basis for its innovative development. The competition, organized by the consultant Seed & Click, aims to attract the Barcelona Fira Hall to new entrepreneurial talent in the field of water.

The five finalists to the award are: GPA SEABOTS, which has developed a buoy that collects microplastics; Research and Naval Development, with a system of anti-corrosion of the boats' helmets; La Bella Verde, which has a fleet of solar catamarans; Shoreview, an app that provides real information on the actually increased coast line; and Triton Submarines, which makes small submarines for the public. The winner opts for a €80,000 prize from BakerMckenzie, McCann Worldgroup, Amazon Web Services, Mares Nautical Magazine and 4YFN.
