The race, organized by the Nautico Cervera and disputed in El Atazar, was framed in the calendar of the CN Cervera Championship being the seventh of the 10 planned on its circuit... that will end on November 9.
The Nautico Cervera Club hosted last weekend, Saturday, September 23, the Autonomous Cruises of the Community of Madrid, within its sports program at the CNC 2019 Championship. An appointment that started on 11 May and is composed of 10 tests, 3 remain to be held on 5 and 19 October and 9 November. The provisional general classification is led by the Actium ship, which after two discards has 8 points, followed by Cannibal with 11 and Poseidon third with 13 points.
The Saturday day in El Atazar was marked by the wind conditions that made the program quite conditioned. This moderate wind was accompanied throughout the morning by a slight rain. However, the committee was able to close the established two-test programme. The first one had a total tour of 4.22 miles over a triangle plus 1 cane. The second test of the day took place with a somewhat lower course, established at 2.3 miles as the wind fall and the rain advised to shorten the course.
The two completed tests were sufficient to be able to configure the podium of the Autonomous Cruise Champions of the Community of Madrid. The general classification was also valid for scoring at the CN Cervera Championship in its seventh test, subtracting three to close the cross circuit of the Madrid club in El Atazar. The first podium square was for the Cannibal, a First 235 by Alberto Iglesias. Nemo IV and Karola held the second and third positions respectively.
