World of Slalon in the Seu dUrgell: David Llorense silver and Joan Crespo bronze

Spain ensures the classification for Tokyo 2020 in the four Olympic tests, in which it has already confirmed the presence of Olympic champion Maialen Chourraut in K1 and of Ander Elosegi in C1 while in male K1 they fight for the square with David Llorente and Joan Crespo and in female C1 they aspire Nuria Vilarubla and Klara Olazabal
The Spanish-Leoness David Llorente has today achieved the silver medal and the Basque Joan Crespo bronze in K1 in the World Championship of Piragüism in the form of slalon, in which Spain has for the first time in history managed to classify all possible vessels for JJOO by doing so in K1 and C1, both in men and women.
The Spanish selection, with the two presets reached this morning, raises to six the number of pods in the World 2019, after the silver obtained yesterday by the Basque Ander Elosegi in C1 and three medals by teams: one gold in K1 with David Llorente, Samuel Hernanz and Joan Crespo, and two silver in C1 with Núria Vilarubla, Klara Olazabal and Ainhoa Lameiro in women and Ander Elosegi, Micquel Travé and Luis Fernández in men.
The national team has had two palists in each of the finals held this morning, as in addition to Llorente and Crespo - silver and bronze, respectively - in K1 had double participation in C1 women with the Basque Klara Olazabal and the Catalan Nuria Vilarrubla who ended up in the fifth and seventh positions in which it will be new Olympic test in Tokyo 2020.
The Segovian David Llorente, with great public support, with family and friends in the stands, managed to make his fall with a mark of 85.96, that is, 1.70 seconds behind the winner. In fact, Llorente was the fastest in the final, but a penalty made him add two seconds to his time and he escaped that gold.
28 / 09 / 2019: World of Eslalon: Ander Elosegui and Maialen Chourraut get the ticket for Tokyo

Elosogi wins the silver and Chourraut runs out of medal in the World Cup where both reach the square for the Games
The Basque Ander Elosegi has today won the silver in C1 while the Olympic champion Maialen Chourraut has been left without a medal at the end of the 10th K1 of the World Championship of Piragüism in the form of slalon, in which both have reached the nominal square for the Tokyo 2020 JJOO... the Spanish selection of piragüism, in the absence of tomorrow's closing day in which it has five palists in the semifinals, adds four podios in the World.
Irun Elosegui's pallist, will play in Tokyo 2020 his fourth Olympic Games after participating in Beijing 2008 and London 2012, in which he finished fourth in both, and in Rio 2016, eighth.
With the mind set to improve its time in the semifinal, the irunese was conjured not to make any mistakes and give the best of itself to fight for gold.
Thanks to a spectacular downfall, Elosegi managed to travel the circuit in 91.35 seconds, only over the French Cédric Joly (90.84 seconds of brand). Joly, visibly excited after becoming a leader, was unbeatable to the last remaining palists and took the gold medal in this world championship. The bronze was for the Slovak Luka Bozic for completing its downfall in 91.92 seconds.
Maialen Chourraut, the Basque sportsman living at the Seu d'Urgell, did not have her day... the double Olympic medalist, bronze in London and gold in Rio de Janeiro, skipped a door on one of the final lifts (door 20) so they penalized him with 50 seconds left without any possibility.
The female gold even surprised the leading sportsman and it was for the Slovenian Eva Tercelj who made a clean fall in its final where it was noted that she had no pressure after a discreet semi-final in which she had been sixth... she imposed herself on the Australian and great favorite Jessica Fox and the third in the drawer was the New Zealand Palist Luuka Jones.
On Sunday, the WC1 female canoe semifinals will be held, in which Nuria Vilarubla and KLara Olazabal will take part, and the MK1 male kayak with Samuel Hernanz, David Llorente and Joan Crespo.
