The competition has a programme of international buyers from countries such as the United Kingdom, France and Portugal to facilitate commercial contacts between exhibitors and visitors from other foreign markets... the Espai de Mar will host company and race presentations as well as product launches and various workshops and seminars on the sector
More than a hundred business professional meetings, an international startups competition, the first Women's Nautical Forum and a day on the present and future of marine waste. These are some of the activities planned by the organization of the Barcelona International Nautical Salon for professionals in the sector, which consolidate the Barcelona Fira competition as the largest sector-specific dynamic platform in Spain.
The 58th edition of the Barcelona Nautical Hall will go beyond its great commercial and exhibition offer to offer its professionals the best stage to promote business opportunities, networking and knowledge. For this reason, there will be days dedicated exclusively to professionals at the event organized by Fira de Barcelona with the collaboration of the National Association of Nautical Enterprises (ANEN), which will take place from 9 to 13 October in Port Vell.
Also, following the success of the last editions, the Nautical Salon organizes the third edition of the Professional Meetings, close to a hundred professional meetings of 20 minutes duration to generate contacts and new business opportunities among the professionals of the sector and that will take place on 9, 10 and 11 October in the Business Area area next to the ANEN stand, after registration through the living room website.
In the Espai de Mar, the second edition of the Nautic Tech International Investment Forum will take place on the 10th, a competition that, under the organization of the consultant Seed & Click, referring to the business and investment ecosystem, will present the five best international startups that have developed innovative and sustainable projects in the field of nautical.
Two major developments in this edition are the present and future day of the marine waste that on the 11th will address the current situation of the pollution of the seas and oceans and will present cases of success in the reduction and management of waste, especially microplastics, and the first Women's Nautical Forum, with which on the 9th the importance of the role of women in the nautical sector will be put to the value, to promote their empowerment and to give visibility to their presence, almost unknown, in a predominantly male field.
