On Saturday, the second test of the XXVI Autumn Trophy of Cruises, of the Royal Astur Club of Regatas, was held in the waters of Gijón Bay.

In the Cruise class I, Fernando Alonso, at the root of the Great Sailing I, again won, showing that he is one of the main seekers of the final triumph, in a Trophy where regularity is certainly one of the keys. The second position was for the Bullbox, by Luis Noguera, always stalking and who will try to overcome his rivals in the next few days. The Taxus MedioAmbiente, by Alfredo Flórez would end up in the third square.

For its part, the University of Oviedo- Grupo Isastur, by Roberto Alvarez, was established in the class Cruise II, with two of two in its locker, is the main aspirant to take the Trophy. The second place was awarded by the Mambo, of José Enrique García, which is placed, in this same position of the general of the class, tied to points with the Andantino, of Raúl Menéndez third in the day.

Antonio Bauza, on board the Espumeru with two victories in his life, is again a firm candidate to win the test in Class III Cruise. The Ita II of Pedro Guerra was second in the manga and occupies the same position in the general classification. The Autumn Trophy organized by the Real Club Astur de Regatas de Gijón begins next Saturday, September 21, for the Cruises... on Saturday, at 1305 hours it will take place in the waters of the Bay of San Lorenzo, the exit pistoletazo to the first manga.

The races will be held on alternate weekends and will end in mid-November, after six days of competition, therefore, the regularity in the race field will be decisive in the classification... in the trophy will take part the bulk of the Gijonese fleet divided into three classes: Cruise I, II and III.

The Bullbox, by Luis Noguera in the Cruise class I and the Ita II, by Pedro Guerra in Cruise II, are the ships to beat in a test with 25 editions behind their back... the award will take place in the annual Gala de la Sela, which will be held in December at the facilities of the Club de Regatas, on the hill of Santa Catalina.
