With an extraordinary view on the Ría de Pontevedra security will be controlled by a representative of each institution, including the Civil Guard, Local Police, Civil Protection and the Security Coordinator of the Galician Federation of Motonautics, Francisco José Pereira, whose pooling will activate the protocols necessary to speed up the decisions to be made at each time.

The Royal Nautical Club of Sanxenxo hosted the first joint meeting between the various institutions that will be in charge of security in the European Endurance Championship to be held on 21 and 22 September, organized by the Galician Federation of Motonautics and the Royal Nautical Club of Sanxenxo.

With a circuit marked by various signalling buoys in the vicinity of Silgar Beach and Portonovo, the pilots will have to draw a 4-mile (6.43 km) tour per turn, which will be completed in a time of no more than two minutes, estimating the average speed at 130-150 km / h. The sleeve will have an 11-round layout, estimated at 20-25 minutes each.

With this premise and due to the high speeds that these designs achieve, safety, both on land and at sea, is fundamental... for this reason the installation of a CECOP - Operational Coordination Centre was established that will be located on the fourth floor of the Royal Nautical Club of Sanxenxo.
