The GS1, by Fernando Alonso the absolute winner of the twenty-ninth edition of the Regata Villa de Gijón de Crucieros- Trophy El Comercio... Alonso also imposed himself in class I, Roberto Alvarez, with the University of Oviedo - Grupo Isastur was the best in class II and the Leonidas, by Juan Quevedo won class III.

In class I, the main protagonist of the Trophy was no doubt the GS1, patronized by Fernando Alonso who won the first manga on Saturday clearly. This weekend will take place in the waters of the Bay of San Lorenzo, the twenty-ninth edition of the Regata Villa de Gijón de Cruceros- Trophy El Comercio... organized by the Real Club Astur de Regatas, with the sponsorship of the daily, El Comercio.

The Gijonese club's dean test will bring together in San Lorenzo Bay much of the cruise fleet of the Villa de Jovellanos, as well as units from other Asian ports. Two sleeves, one per day, with a warning signal, will be held on Saturday at 3.00 p.m. and on Sunday at 1.00 p.m.

The winner in the Cruise class I in the last edition was the Bullbox, by Luis Noguera, while in the Cruise class II, the Ita II, by Pedro Guerra was the winner of his group and is one of the favorite ships to repeat the triumph in his class, with three consecutive victories in his existence.

The Villa de Gijón de Crucieros Regata was born in a conversation with Víctor Montero in the Port of Santa Maria in the late 1980s; after one of those exceptional receptions of Osborne when the Sherry was the Sherry, that is the most important regatta in Spain... we talked about the idea and Victor asked me... what name would you give him? and I proposed Villa de Gijón... in honor of that legendary race of snitch that so many times had as the winner of the mythical Felix Gancedo.
