The podium has been completed with Alvaro Alonso and Guillermo Castellano of Real Club Nautico Gran Canaria and Antonia Shultheis and Maria Gonzalez of Real Club Nautico de Tarragona
The Spanish Cup 29th 2019 already has new owners. The Valencian Tandem Quicorras Urios and Filippo Binetti (RCN Valencia) and the Canaries Paula Laiseca and Elena Barrio (RCN Gran Canaria) have today been proclaimed, in Santander, new champions of the Spanish Cup 29th after three intense days in which 9 of the 12 planned tests have been completed. This last day has been marked by the wind that, while in its start came with 10 knots from the West, the strong chubacco that has allowed to record points that exceeded 23 knots of intensity.
A second place for the Valencians that has been more than enough to get the title. The Canarian-Cantabrian tandem with Yoel Hernández and Carlota García has signed the last partial victory in Santander, under very favourable wind conditions for them. This very little result has served them to get into the podium, since they have been left with 25 points, for 22 that have been obtained by the Catalan Antonia Shultheis and Maria Gonzalez (RCN Tarragona), third and first in SUB19 females. The second square and with 21 points has been for the canaries Alvaro Alonso and Guillermo Castellano (RCN Gran Canaria).
As for the Canarias Paula Laiseca and Elena Barrio (RCN Gran Canaria), quintas in the absolute general and second in females, have been made with the national title, as Antonia Shultheis maintains Maltese nationality, even though her partner Maria González is Spanish and both sailing with the nautical of Tarragona. Laiseca and Barrio have achieved a brilliant and worked third square on this last day, closing their participation with a total of 36 points.
04 / 09 / 2019: The Valencian tandem Urios-Binetti will lead the Spanish Cup 29er

Second day with less wind in Santander, playing against the canarian tandem-cantabre formed by Yoel Hernández and Carlota García who after giving up the first square take up the fourth place
The second day of the 29th Spanish Cup that is being held in Santander waters, organized by the Maritime, has been conditioned by the little wind. A situation that has played against the Canarian-Cantabrian tandem formed by Yoel Hernández of the Real Nautico Club Gran Canaria and Carlota García of the Nautico Boya 14, who have lost the first place in favor of the Valencians' Quicorras' Urios and Filippo Benetti of the Real Nautico Club of Valencia, new leaders.
The Valencians signed three partial wins and a third... this, together with the discard and the four tests of yesterday, leaves them in that first square with a slight 10-point advantage over the canaries Alvaro Alonso and Guillermo Castellano, both of the RCN Gran Canaria.
Alonso and Castellano have also been quite regular and well with these wind conditions, although the numbers have not been very positive, starting with a 3rd in the first test, to rise to the 4th in the second and end with 2-4 partials. The Catalan Antonia Shultheis and María González (RCN Tarragona) slightly expand their advantage in females and is held in the third place of the absolute general with 22 points, to 11 of the Valencians.
Shultheis and González have been well saved in the second test of the day, with a discreet 6th place. In the other three tests they have done a great team work with two seconds on and highlight that partial triumph in the third test of the day that has served them to have the provisional bronze in the general and the gold in the female, in the absence of a day and four tests planned.
Yoel Hernández and Carlota García, with 14-3-13-18 partials today, go down three posts and become rooms with 38 points. With 4 differences over them, the canaries Paula Laiseca and Elena Barrio (RCN Gran Canaria) have been placed, with a fifth as a result on this second day.
Tomorrow Thursday, third and last day of the 29th Spanish Cup in Santander waters in which four tests are planned.
03 / 09 / 2019: Yoel Rodríguez and Carlota García leaders of the Spanish Cup of 29er in Santander

The RCM of Santander hosts until Thursday, September 5, the Spanish Cup of the class in which 27 crews of Cantabria, Gran Canaria, Valencia, Catalonia and Baleares participate, within the sports program of the V International Week of Selling the City of Santander
From today until Thursday, the Royal Maritime Club of Santander hosts the Spanish Cup of the 29th class, within its program of the fifth edition of the International Week of Vela City of Santander... an appointment that has managed to bring together an important fleet of 27 Cantabria ships, Gran Canaria, Valencia, Catalonia and Balearic Islands.
The Maritime has brought together a large and high-level fleet, as reflected in the 4 completed tests. Double tie with 5 points for the first square, with the canarian-cantabre tandem formed by Yoel Rodríguez (RCN Gran Canaria) and Carlota García (CN Boya 14) and the Valencians' Quicorras' Urios Salinas and Filippo Binetti (RCN Valencia). A tie that has been decanted in favour of the first thanks to its partials, with 3-1-1-3, which after 1 discards have added those 5 points.
The Valencians, for their part, have also shown very strong, with a very good start achieving the first triumph of the class in the Bay of Santander. Then they signed two second posts, closing their participation today with a fourth square, partial that they were to be removed, leaving them also with those 5 points.
The margin behind it is short, as the Canary crew formed by Alvaro Alonso and Guillermo Castellano has been left with 8 points. The Canaries have managed to maintain a good regularity by highlighting the last test of the day in which they managed to score a victory.
The Antonio Shultheis and María González (RCN Tarragona) women have been placed fourth and first in this category. They have gone from less to more, although in the third test of the day they have not been very fine, so 9th place obtained has harmed them, closing the door of that provisional general podium. They add 11 points to 6 of the head of the table. With 4 points of difference, the second female crew, 5th in the provisional general, has been placed with Paula Laiseca and Elena Barrio. He stands out in his locker a third in the third test of the day as the best partial.
