The Organizing Committee of the Abanca Week, which chairs Francisco García de Bobadilla, has unanimously decided to name for the first time in its history "comandoros" for each of the competing disciplines: sailing, pyragüism, rowing and nautical skiing.

The Maarten Wizner world and European bicampeon of the 420 class that competes for the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo has been chosen by the candle... is certainly one of the Spanish regatists with the largest international projection in the medium term. His father Laureano Wizner is among the most valued national patterns, with continental titles and presence in competitions such as the America's Cup and the Volvo Ocean Race.

Three times the world champion and five of Europe's Pyragüism (marathon), are the credentials of the tusten Ivan Alonso, who is the reference of the powerful Olivic Pyragüism Club. By the rowing, a Moañés that already has a world title sub 23 of Olympic rowing, while in nautical skiing, it has also been the small Silvia of the Galician Federation of Nautical Skiing that already has the gallons of "comandoro."

On Tuesday, on the occasion of the official presentation of the Abanca Week in Vigo, the awards will be given for these four elite athletes of the four most noted nautical sports.
