The four Spanish palists participating in the Piragüismo competition of the Mediterranean Games of Playa de Patras 2019 have provided so many other medals for the national delegation, by today getting the gold Walter Bouzan, silver Judith Verges and bronze Amaia Osaba and Esteban Medina.
The Asterian Walter Bouzan, a marathon holder of six world pods and four Europeans, has stood with the gold medal in K1 at the Mediterranean Games in Playa, a specialty in which last year he was proclaimed a continental champion.
In the same test, the Canary Esteban Medina, last year's winner of the Kayak European Championship of the Sea in Villajoyosa, won the bronze.
In women, the palist of the Club Amigos del Piragüismo de Canarias, Judith Verges (49m.20), was proclaimed a subchampion ahead of the Amaia Osaba (49m.44), which ended third by increasing its palmarés in which to its medals in sea kayak adds in marathon two podias in World Championships and three in Europeans.
