For the Arenal Nautical the Team Racing of Optimist on the Great Day of the Vela- Bufete Frau
Today, the third day of the 56 edition of the 'Grand Day of Sailing - Bufete Frau' organized by the Club Nàutic de s'Arenal and will take place until tomorrow in the waters of Palma Bay.
In the Team Racing of the Optimist class the victory has been for the team of the Nàutic S'Arenal Club, followed by RCN Palma and third the Nautical Maritime Club of Benalmádena.
The Latin candle has started at 1 p.m., while the cruises have done so half an hour later highlighting the victory of the CNA regatist Ricard Paliau with 1 point, followed by his teammates Carlos Tormo and Juan Mª Fiol in Social ORC.
The rest of the classes have been out from 2 p.m. In Musto Skiff the CNA regatists have copped the podium. Just Martínez has finished first with 5 points, Patrick Harris second with 10 points and Joan Rossello third with 12 points.
However in Snipe the podium has been for the RCN Palma regatists. Juan José Company and Cristian Vidal have been first with 5 points, Kai Dost and Angel Jorge Díaz second with 8 points, and Miquel Ensenyat and Mateo Palmer third with 13 points.
While in Individual Acts the podium has been awarded it by the regatists of the CV Port d'Andratx. Violet of the Kingdom has been first with 4 points, followed very closely by Jana Mestre with 5 points, and third Isaiah Churches with 8 points.
As for the Windsurf Foil, the victory has been for Julián López of the CN Sa Ràpita with 3 points, followed by CNA Regatists Cata Cardell and Emilio Vidal, with 6 and 9 points respectively.

Tomorrow will be the most playful day of the race in which the Team Racing will take place for the Optimist from 11: 00 hours and for the rest of the light sail will start at 12: 00 hours... in addition, on the same Saturday the tests will begin for the rest of the participating classes... the Latin candle will start at 13: 00 hours, followed by half an hour later by the cruises and finally at 14: 00 hours will be released to the remaining classes of Musto Skiff, Individual Acces, Windsurf Foil and Snipe
The second day of the 56 edition of the 'Grand Day of Sailing - Bufete Frau' has started at 12: 00 with the tests of the class Optimist, Laser, 420, Techno 293 and RS: X.
The weather conditions for this second day have been favourable, with an embat wind between 8 and 12 knots of intensity, allowing the development of the three sleeves planned for each class.
In the Optimist class there has been a change of leader. Pablo Moreno, from the Real Club Náutico Valencia is first located with 9 points. While Nicola Sadler, of the CNA, is placed in second position of the classification with 11 points, being the first female.
In Optimist D, Antoni Tortella of the CN Ca'n Picafort is held in the first square of the classification with 12 points, followed by the CNA regatist Nicolás Montoya which adds 19 points.
In Laser 4.7 Daniel Cardona, CNA regatist, maintains leadership with seven points after performing a 2-1-2 partial in the second day, and with nine points of advantage over the second classified.
While in Laser Radial the first position is occupied by Pau Ramis of the CMSAP with 7 points and a wide advantage over the second classified Justo Martínez, of the CNA, with 16 points.
In Class 420 a tie is produced to points between the first two classified. The female crew formed by Andrea Perelló del CNA and Neus Ballester del CN Sa Ràpita, and the couple formed by Fernando Rodríguez del CNA and Pablo Ruiz del RCN Palma, both occupy the first positions with 7 points.
As for the tables, in Techno 293 the regatist Joan Riutort of the CMSAP is held in the head with 11 points, and stands out the third and fourth position of Claudia García and Paula Jamie Walker respectively who manage to climb positions on this second day. And in RS: X the first position is occupied by Joan Villalonga of the CN Sa Ràpita with 7 points.

The 56 edition of the Grand Day of the Vela-Bufete Frau, organized by the Nàutic Club of s'Arenal, which will take place until next Sunday, with the participation of half a thousand ships, with six hundred regatists, began in the waters of the bay of Palma.
In the Optimist class, the first place in the general classification is Roberto Aguilar of the Benalmádena Maritime Nautical Club with 6 points. In addition, the CNA regatists Alexandra Lencina and Nicola Saldler with 13 and 14 points respectively and occupying the sixth and seventh position of the table, being the first female.
In Optimist D the first place in the general is for Antoni Tortella of the CN Ca'n Picafort with 11 points.

500 ships, with more than 600 regatists will participate in the 56th edition of the Grand Day of Sailing - Bufete Frau race organized by the Nàutic Club of the Arenal of the Balearic Islands, which starts on Thursday.
This edition has a record of participation this year, which will compete in the three fields of race planned in the waters of the Bay of Palma... the trophy in play for this already historic quote, is based on the figure of Rei Jaume III, a historical character very linked to the history of Llucmajor.
