In the category Sálvora was imposed at this stage the Kraken II of Bertrand Kerrand, followed in compensation by the Miniña of Fabián Garrido only 47 seconds, being third the Acali of Santiago Tomé 6 minutes and 20 seconds in compensated time.

First day of the Atlantic Illas Regata for Classical and Epoch ships... the appointment organized by the Nautical Club San Vicente do Mar with the sponsorship of Portos de Galicia, Xunta de Galicia, El Corte Inglés and Yoryojana has started today in the era of Pontevedra with the dispute of the first of the two scheduled coastal tests. The French Griffon, Miña Miniña and Dorna Meca are the first leaders of this new edition.
In the Ons category, which brings together the highest length and speed, the French Griffon of Pierre Loic Chantereau was the first to cross the finish line, completing the tour in three hours and 14 minutes and standing at the top of the provisional podium. Eleven minutes later Paul Davies' Little Girl arrived, although in compensated time it is located in the third place of the general behind the Tikaroa of Olivier Beau, which marches second.
In the category Sálvora, for the time being, the Miniña de Fabián Garrido, which after sealing a large exit, was able to master the entire route and cross the arrival after three hours and 25 minutes of navigation.
