Solved the first titles after a spectacular outcome in the waters of the bay of Cadiz

Second day of excellence in the bay of Cadiz to fire the four kinds of light candle that have competed during the first two days of the 48th Nautical Week of El Puerto de Santa María. With the first leaders already placed in the palmarés, tomorrow Friday it will be the fleet of Cruciero that captures all the protagonism, with the first tests for this class in 'the dean' and the simultaneous beginning of the 25 edition of the race Juan de la Cosa.

However in the air the regatist of the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante won the last manga in optimist while Arauz played with a tenth that, despite dismissing, only served to sign the absolute and male subchampionship Sub 16. The podium was completed by the young Balar Marisa Vicens, a champion among the women Sub 16.

Both podiums are completed with Santiago Grosso, from CN Elcano, third Sub 16 and fifth absolute, and the young Natalia Moreno (CR Madrid) and María Fernández (CN Puerto Sherry), subchampion and third Sub 16 from the fourth and ninth square of the joint general. The champions of the category Sub 13 are Luis Sánchez (RCN of El Puerto de Santa María) and Rocío Blazquez, of the Mediterranean RC, and the trophy to the first Sub 11 is in the hands of Carlos Carrasco, the CN Puerto Sherry and among the girls it is for Beatriz Serrano of the CN Sevilla.

In Laser 4.7 the madrileño Alfonso Moreno takes advantage of the discard and two wins today to solve the tie with the regatist of the CN El Trocadero de Puerto Real, Lola Belize, which signs the absolute subchampionship and wins among the girls Sub 16. The podium is closed by the male subchampion Sub 18 after Moreno, the regatist of the CN Sevilla, Miguel Muñoz, with a point more than the gaditana. The champion Sub 16, Iván Páez, winner of the last trial, and the champion Sub 18, Natalia Torres, both of the sailing team of the CN El Trocadero de Puerto Real, are completed.

Victory in Radio Laser of young Felipe Sánchez in his first race in this class, second Javier Torres and third, Thomas Waggott... the three of the Port of Santa Maria. Vicente Climent in the class Patín a Vela, Rafael Ruiz, of the CV Bahia de Cadiz, and Ramón Calero, as Citation of the RCN of El Puerto de Santa María, formed the podium.

First leaders after a nice late groom in the Gaditana Bay where the four light sailing classes were premiered

A fleet of a hundred ships distributed in four classes, have been responsible for raising today the curtain of the 48 edition of the Nautical Week of El Puerto de Santa María, which will not live its closure until Sunday August 18 with the last day for the Cruises. The Optimist, Radial Laser, Laser 4.7 and Sailing Skate classes have been the first to make their way into the gaditan bay with the beginning of their tests at around 15: 00 hours, with some delay over the scheduled schedule, then compensated with a beautiful and late-afternoon regatta marked by 10 knots of average intensity.

The first assault for the Optimist and Laser was resolved in front of the harbour beaches of Valdelagrana and Levante, while the skates were closer to the Pepa bridge to complete their two tours, one less than the rest of the classes. Juan Castañeda and Ángel Ruiz, respectively, were today the teachers of ceremony in the two areas of race in which the fleet was distributed for the premiere of the great week of the sailing in the bay gaditana.

The regatist of the host club, Vicente Citation, is the first leader among the Patines with a little and a second in the trial that Rafael Ruiz was winning from the CV Bahia de Cadiz. Ruiz, with a fifth in the first one is located third at a point of Ramon Calero, of the RCN of El Puerto de Santa María, 2nd and 3rd today. At the doors of this first podium that occupy three experts, is José María Alarcón (CV Bahia de Cadiz) with two more points and others of advantage with the first of the category 'B' Ignacio Muñoz, of Puerto Sherry, fifth, and between him and the first 'A2', Santiago Carmona (CV Bahia de Cadiz), is hung Alfonso Merello, of CN Puerto Sherry, in the sixth place.

The rivalry opens up in the Optimist class from the first compasses and leaves us a first classification in which equality is the dominant note. The young man of the CN Puerto Sherry, Arturo Arauz, claims his regularity and without winning any of the three tests he is placed absolute leader and Sub 16, with an income point on the regatist of Alicante, Miguel Campos, creditor of the first victory of the week. The fourth position is for the young Jose Antonio Ruiz, of the organizing club, who, in the absence of dismissing an eighth in the third test, was wanted by the leader who came after winning the second tour. With three more points, the fifth absolute and first place among the women Sub 16 is for Natalia Moreno, from the Club de Regatas de Madrid. In the category Sub 13, the first classified are Luis Sánchez, of the RCN of El Puerto de Santa María, and Mercedes Medel, of the CN Elcano, seventh and tenth absolute, respectively.

In Laser 4.7 equality is translated into a first shared leadership between the Madrid Alfonso Moreno, winner of two tests, and the regatist of the CN El Trocadero de Puerto Real, Lola Belize, second in the same tests with one sixth in the other in which Moreno was eighth. The third place with two more points is for the laserista of the CN Sevilla, Miguel Muñoz. The other partial victory of the day was awarded by Natalia Cilloniz, the CNM Benalmádena, the fifth absolute and third female behind Natalia Torres, the CN El Trocadero.

In Laser Radial, an off-line in the second test prevents the regatist of the RCN of El Puerto de Santa María, Thomas Waggott, leading imbatido and is third behind his club partner, Javier Torres, provisional leader with two-second and one-first, and Alfonso Moreno (father) of the CR of Madrid, second.

Tomorrow is the second and last day for light sailing classes, with three other tests for Optimist and Laser and two for Skate, which will start around one in the afternoon with a weather part that keeps the poniente somewhat more intense. After the race will be held the first trophy delivery of the Nautical Week on the terraces of the Royal Nautical Club of El Puerto de Santa María.
