Until the Ares era, 15 regatists from Optimist and 6 from Laser were moved, both in 4.7 and in Stanard and Radial.

A great performance by the regatists of the Regatas Team of the Royal Nautical Club of La Coruña, in the thirty-third edition of the Regata General Gabeiras, which he organized in Club Nautico Ria de Ares.

In the Optimist class, the first three squares were awarded to the Nautico athletes; the winner was Fernando del Castillo in an absolute way by achieving three first positions in their sleeves... the second was for Mauro González Regueral and the third for Pepa Bermudez de Castro.

In the class Laser 4.7, also dominated the Coruñese regatists that achieved the first three positions of the general... being the winner was Carlos Bermudez de Castro, who won in the four magas disputed; the second square was for Carlos González Regueral and Claudia Díaz Sánchez.

In Laser Radial the first two positions were also for the Nautico de la Coruña: Jorge Tábara defeated, with three wins and a second position... the second position was for Enrique Vilariño Abella.

Finally in Laser Standard was Jaime Carreras Portela also del Náutico was the third in spite of his youth, occupying the first two squares the regatists of the Real Club Náutico de Portosín Jose Rey Seijo, and Jaime Carreras.
