The Royal Nautical Club of El Puerto de Santa María has officially presented both events, which will be held between the next days 14 to 18 in the waters of the bay of Cadiz

The 48th Nautical Week of El Puerto de Santa María will release on Wednesday August 14 with the first qualifying tests for the classes Optimist, Laser Radial, Laser 4.7, Sailing Skate and 420. About 300 regatists will be in charge of raising the curtain in the Gaditan bay to the big week of the Sailing, which includes the celebration of the 25th Regata Juan de La Cosa and the 48th Nautical Week for the Cruise class.

For the fifth year in a row, the two great harbour races join together to bring together efforts and facilitate the participation of the crews that will arrive from the different ports and clubs of the Gaditana province and also from other localities of the Andalusian and Spanish coast. Similarly, the light candle will be in charge of raising the curtain with two first days of race - Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 - giving the witness to the Cruises that will sail until Sunday 18.

With two days of tests to decide the champions of the classes Optimist, Laser Radial, Laser 4.7, 420 and Sailing Sailing Skate, on Friday 17 will begin simultaneously the regatta tribute to the insignia cartographer Juan de la Cosa and the one known as the dean for being the oldest regatta in Spain as regards the high-level circuit. From that day on, the cruises will compete for three days; two to meet the winner of the 24 edition of the Juan de La Cosa race and until Sunday day 18 to discover the winner of the coveted cruise gold catavino.
